Happy (belated) 4th of July

July 22, 2013

The past few weeks have been a whirlwind. Between starting a new job during the week and photographing weddings on the weekends, I haven't had much time to do much besides eat, sleep, and edit. But I'm back to normal life and ready to share what I've been up to the last few weeks! Starting with my favorite day of the year, 4th of July!

This day is the epitome of summer for me- relaxing with friends and family, spending as much time outside as possible, and eating tons of watermelon and hamburgers. This year we spent the morning watching a local town parade then headed to Jack's parents house for a barbecue and lawn games with friends. We topped it off with fireworks on Mt. Baldy, which has 190 degree view of Marin and the city, so we were able to witness fireworks after fireworks after fireworks, and boy oh boy was I a happy camper.

  1. No worries on the delay! We've all been there. I'm learning to juggle a new job plus my blog at the same time. It's great to force yourself to enjoy time with friends and family, all about balance.

    1. Thanks Camille! It's definitely difficult to juggle it all but definitely worth it! Hope your new job is great!
